Slice them lengthwise into thin strips. Soak the slices in salted water for 15\u201320 minutes to remove bitterness.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"889\" data-end=\"1136\"><strong data-start=\"889\" data-end=\"919\">Make the Meatball Mixture:<\/strong><br data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"922\" \/>In a bowl, combine the ground beef, grated onion, breadcrumbs, egg, crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and cumin. Knead until the mixture is well combined and smooth. Shape into small meatballs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1280\"><strong data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1163\">Saut\u00e9 the Vegetables:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1166\" \/>In a pan, saut\u00e9 the chopped green peppers and grated tomatoes in Turna Sunflower Oil for a few minutes. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1447\"><strong data-start=\"1282\" data-end=\"1304\">Fry the Eggplants:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1307\" \/>Drain and pat dry the soaked eggplant slices. Fry them in Turna Sunflower Oil until golden. Place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1564\"><strong data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1473\">Shape the Meatballs:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1476\" \/>Form the meat mixture into walnut-sized balls, pressing them slightly flat in your palm.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1689\"><strong data-start=\"1566\" data-end=\"1596\">Assemble the \u0130slim Kebab\u0131:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1599\" \/>Wrap each fried eggplant slice around one meatball and place the bundles in a baking dish.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1892\"><strong data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"1713\">Prepare the Sauce:<\/strong><br data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1716\" \/>In a small pan, saut\u00e9 the grated tomatoes and crushed garlic in Turna Sunflower Oil. Add hot water, salt, and black pepper.
