Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots, grated

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1/4 cup crushed walnuts

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions:

Prepare the Carrots:
Grate the carrots and gently squeeze out any excess moisture to avoid a watery mixture.

Make the Yogurt Base:
In a bowl, combine the yogurt, Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.

Add Garlic and Walnuts:
Add the crushed garlic and walnuts to the yogurt mixture and continue mixing.

Add the Carrots:
Fold in the grated carrots and mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Serve:
Let the tarator rest in the refrigerator for a while. Garnish with a sprig of parsley if desired and serve chilled.
