Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/2 cup lukewarm milk

  • 2 tablespoons Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 1 packet dry yeast

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 4 cups flour

  • 1/4 cup black olives, chopped

  • 1/4 cup white cheese, crumbled

  • 1 egg (for brushing)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix the lukewarm water and milk, then add sugar and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then add Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt, and flour, and knead the dough. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.

  2. Prepare the Filling: Mix the chopped olives and crumbled white cheese.

  3. Shape the Pastries: Divide the dough into two pieces, roll each piece out, and sprinkle the olive and cheese mixture on top. Roll the dough up and shape into circles or spiral shapes.

  4. Bake: Brush the top with egg and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20-25 minutes.

  5. Serve: Serve warm.
