Ingredients
For the Pasta:

500 g pasta (preferably penne or oven-ready pasta)

1 tsp salt

Water (for boiling the pasta)
For the Béchamel Sauce:

2 tablespoons Turna Riviera Olive Oil

2 tablespoons flour
-
2 cups milk
-
1 tsp salt
-
1/2 tsp black pepper
-
1/2 tsp nutmeg (optional)

1 cup grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Instructions:
Boil the pasta in plenty of salted water according to the instructions on the package. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Béchamel Sauce:
In a saucepan, heat the Turna Riviera Olive Oil and stir in the flour. Cook for 1–2 minutes while stirring. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Once the sauce thickens, add salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Mix well. Your béchamel sauce is ready.
Mix the cooked pasta with the prepared béchamel sauce.
Pour the sauced pasta into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden on top.
Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, and serve warm.
