Artichoke Dish with Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Ingredients:
- 4 artichoke hearts
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 potato, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup hot water
- Juice of 1 lemon
Instructions:
- Sauté the Onions: Heat 3 tablespoons of Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a pot and sauté the onions until they become translucent.
- Add the Vegetables: Add the diced carrot and potato, and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Add the Artichokes and Seasoning: Place the artichoke hearts in the pot, then add the peas. Drizzle with salt, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Cooking: Pour in the hot water, cover the pot, and let it simmer on low heat for about 30-35 minutes.
- Serving: Serve warm or cold. For enhanced flavor, drizzle extra Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil before serving.
