Artichoke Dish with Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Ingredients:

  • 4 artichoke hearts
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 potato, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions:

  1. Sauté the Onions: Heat 3 tablespoons of Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a pot and sauté the onions until they become translucent.
  2. Add the Vegetables: Add the diced carrot and potato, and sauté for a few more minutes.
  3. Add the Artichokes and Seasoning: Place the artichoke hearts in the pot, then add the peas. Drizzle with salt, sugar, and lemon juice.
  4. Cooking: Pour in the hot water, cover the pot, and let it simmer on low heat for about 30-35 minutes.
  5. Serving: Serve warm or cold. For enhanced flavor, drizzle extra Turna Extra Virgin Olive Oil before serving.
