Ingredients:

  • 1 cup green lentils

  • 1 tea glass of noodles (eriste or egg noodles)

  • 1 onion (chopped)

  • 2 tablespoons Turna Riviera Olive Oil

  • 1 tablespoon flour

  • 1 tsp tomato paste

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 6 cups water or broth

Instructions:

Rinse the green lentils, boil them until slightly tender, then drain.

In a pot, heat the Turna Riviera Olive Oil and sauté the chopped onion.

Add the flour and stir until the raw smell disappears. Add the tomato paste and sauté for a few more minutes.

Add the boiled lentils and hot water or broth. Bring to a boil.

Add the noodles and cook until softened.

Season with salt, black pepper, and cumin. Let it simmer for a few more minutes.
