Ingredients:

  • 4 sheets of yufka (phyllo dough)

  • 200 g pastırma (Turkish cured beef)

  • 100 g white cheese (or kashar cheese)

  • 2 green peppers

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 onion

  • 1 tea glass of Turna Sunflower Oil (for frying)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1 egg (for brushing on top, optional)

Instructions:

Finely chop the pastırma. Dice the peppers and onion, and sauté them in a pan with Turna Sunflower Oil. Once softened, add the pastırma and sauté for a few more minutes. Lastly, add the cheese, mix well, and remove from heat.

Lay the yufka sheets on a clean surface and cut each one into 4 equal triangles.

Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each piece, fold in the sides, and roll them up into cigar-shaped rolls.

Fry the böreks in hot Turna Sunflower Oil until golden and crispy. Optionally, brush them with beaten egg after frying to enhance their shine and crispiness.
